Société Générale called on architects Georges Reuter to rebuild its new headquarters.
EL’LE architects treated the building’s noble spaces. Lobby, auditorium, business center and cafeteria were created.
The lobby takes up all the codes of Haussmannian architecture, reprocessed in a very contemporary way, and is adorned with marble, moldings and brass, to create a link between France and Luxemburg.
There are nods to the French capital in the form of rounded elements, arches and a glass panel depicting the rooftops of Paris.
Like an Ariadne’s thread, the window continues into the Business Center, this time representing the street itself. Seating benches and a ceiling of mirrors were integrated throughout, adding volume to this modular, multifunctional space.
A 240-seat auditorium, widely adapted for PRM, was added to the ensemble. Taking up the codes of the Lobby, we wanted it to be warm and inviting. Acoustic wooden wall cladding was installed on the walls, while the red seats play on the bank’s graphic charter. The luminous arches surrounding the auditorium create a dynamic effect that reinforces the idea of comfort.
