Project:

Designed for engineers, this office layout reflects a subtle balance between technical rigor and user comfort. The project is structured around a clear spatial organization, where fluid circulation interacts with more intimate work areas.

The intervention highlights the existing structure, notably through the preservation of raw elements such as exposed metal frameworks, embraced as defining features of the space. This industrial vocabulary is softened by the introduction of warm materials, particularly light wood, which is omnipresent in the custom-made furniture and joinery.

The spaces are shaped by a play of transparency and filtering. Screens, open shelving, and glazing maintain visual continuity while providing varying degrees of privacy suited to different uses. This visual permeability encourages communication between teams while ensuring comfortable working conditions.

Special attention has been given to acoustics and materiality. Textured wall panels, in soft and nuanced tones, contribute to the project’s visual identity while improving sound comfort. The use of differentiated flooring also helps structure the spaces and guide transitions between circulation areas and workstations.

Finally, a few more pronounced touches of color—particularly deep blue—punctuate the project, highlighting certain architectural elements and adding contrast and character to the whole.
